As a young girl, Amanda's Dad was in the Royal Australian Air Force, so with each year there was another country or state to move to. She started dancing at a very young age, showing her love of being in front of an audience.
In 1998 Amanda was accepted in the Graduate College of Dance in Perth where she stayed until the beginning of 2002, participating in classical, Spanish, character and contemporary dance classes.
In 2002, Amanda left school and the Graduate College of Dance to pursue classical ballet further and joined the Terri Charlesworth Ballet Centre's Junior Professional Course. Participating again in classical, Spanish, character, contemporary, drama and theory classes. At this time she also started modelling at Metro Modelling Academy with Christine Gray.
Beginning of 2004 was a time of change for Amanda. After many years and hundreds of pairs of dance shoes she quit ballet and continued to model with Metro Modelling and started classes at Chadwick Models.
In 2005, two days after Amanda's 18th birthday she purchased the Armadale branch of Metro Modelling Academy, where she taught modelling, grooming and deportment.
At the end of 2005 Amanda started modelling with Xtreem Agency where she also started teaching modelling and grooming classes.
At the beginning of 2007 Amanda left Metro Modelling Academy and continued to teach at Xtreem Agency. In 2007 she also became Modelling and Acting Manager at Xtreem Agency as well as completing a certificate two in Makeup Artistry.
End of 2007, Amanda left Xtreem agency and decided to try a few new things, which included working at Cohunu Wildlife Park with the koalas and working as a fitness technician at Curves ladies gym.
In 2008, Amanda started teaching again under her own name "Amanda Wearn Models".
In 2009, she decided to have break and to concentrate on her own modelling career and was lucky enough to be a WA top 21 finalist for Miss Universe.
Now 2010, Amanda and Raylee-Jo, offer you their combined knowledge and expertise through Cantik Models.
